About Donna

Hi!  My name is Donna!  I am a Clinical Social Worker who has worked in mental health, addictions, supervised and worked in Employee Assistance.  I knew there was something important about Intersubjective Systems Theory, IST and was influenced by one of the originators of the contemporary psychoanalytic theory since my undergraduate education at Rutgers University.   It’s complex stuff but also very powerful.  Having completed my initial writings on these ideas that I started 10 years ago, these are important ideas for positive change in individuals and the world.  It’s healing and deeply connecting which is why I have poured so much of my heart and soul into the work.  Working with these ideas has effected impressive changes in peoples’ lives!

About ReLUVnation

We are exhibiting an enhanced look at mental health concerns. Today’s needs in the world present with utilizing the most contemporary ideas to understand our life, mind and body as inter-related. Instead of being isolated from real life occurrences, in Intersubjective Systems Theory (IST), minds are not seen as necessitating correction or re-programming. On the contrary, real-life situations often withheld from felt connections call for deep emotional attunement. We are looking at human experience perspective and not at a constructed idea of the mind in order to promote deeper individual awareness of what happens and has happened in situations. The relational ways aspects of life are responded and whether the responses occur within caring, responsive, relationships help give illumination to what it is like in different experiences. We aim to look at the aspects that support of degrade good relationships within ourselves and the world.

COACHING AND PSYCHOEDUCATION SERVICES

reLUVnation, LLC provides psychoeducation and training on the philosophical principles towards understanding the impact on experience, both personal and societal. Coaching and Psychoeducation are goal and learning-oriented services. In contrast to psychotherapy, developed out of the effort to cure mental and emotional unease, the coaching tradition stems from a sports background and is skill and goal-attainment oriented. Psychotherapy traditionally includes elements of interpretation for which there are different approaches, which a competent therapist can explain their approach and is aware of how they are applying the approach.

An in-depth approach to understanding that the psychotherapist involves themselves in towards human experience, the philosophical ideas around IST are found around the world as beneficial to “understanding” the human condition that individuals are immersed in today.  They promote self-reflection and empowerment in understanding of being anchored in self-knowledge.  We are expanding a community of individuals who share interest and personal benefits of the perspective, based in the phenomenology branch of philosophy, the ideas that are seen as traditional theorist’s traumatic reactions in their perspectives are identified from the ideas that can and have been universally utilized for relating to the human condition.

about us

TRAINING/SUPERVISION for Mental Health Professionals

Based on an individual’s education, a therapist may or may not be able and fully committed to understanding an other.  Although in a serving role, we as therapists are individuals and some may have an awareness of themselves in the role and continue to an understanding approach to themselves. This is the legacy of Intersubjective Systems Theory, and of which understanding its principles can help therapists become more whole, self-aware and form a unique alliance with the patient as equally empowered in their healing process.
